COVID-19

To protect our vulnerable and elderly patients, the surgery is only open if you have a booked appointment. Only after you have spoken to a Manor Clinic clinician.

Prescriptions can be requested either through econsult, online patient access or posting repeat prescriptions through the Manor Clinic door. Please allow 2-3 working days for prescriptions to be sent to the chemist.

Please note that the chemists are under extreme pressure therefore allow 2-3 working days to prepare your prescriptions. 

Please contact the pharmacy after the appropriate time for prescriptions before you contact the surgery.

For anything else please call the surgery to speak to a receptionist.

Sick Notes

If your employer requires a sick note due to the Corona Virus you can now generate one yourself, just go to the below link and follow the instructions.

If your employer request you contact your GP for a sick note due to the corona virus pandemic then please visit ACAS - arbitration service for patients needing help with employers, please see the below link:

If you believe you should be shielding or self-isolating and require a sick note please contact your occupation health department.

THE GP'S WILL NOT ISSUE A SICK NOTE DUE TO THE CORONA VIRUS!

The Folkestone Haven

The Folkestone Haven is a new evening telephone service to help people who may be struggling with their mental health during the current COVID-19 Pandemic.  They are available Monday to Friday 6pm to 11pm and weekends and bank holidays between 12pm and 11pm.

NHS Volunteer Responders

If you need support while you are self-isolating and need help with tasks such as collecting shopping and prescribed medicines or you need a lift to medical appointments then you can self-refer to the NHS Volunteer service by calling 0808 196 3646 between 8am and 8pm.
