Repeat Prescriptions

All repeat prescriptions for medications must be submitted in writing, either in person, through a local pharmacy, by post or by fax.

Alternatively you can register to use our simple online service for appointments and repeat prescriptions and order via the link at the top of this page.

We cannot take routine repeat prescriptions over the telephone.

Please do not ask for repeat prescriptions during consultations with clinicians as time does not permit this to happen.

Repeat prescriptions take a minimum of 48 hours to be processed; this does not include weekend or bank holidays.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
