The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Reception

The medical staff are assisted by a team of receptionists, secretaries and administrators. Anything you say to them will be in confidence. The receptionist's job is to ease the flow of patients wishing to see the doctor, enabling them to see as many patients as necessary during their day. If you find you no longer need your appointment with any practice member would you please let us know so that we may allocate it to someone else.

We understand that our patients sometimes come to the surgery in considerable pain or distress. We realise that patients may become angry or upset if they feel we are not giving them the service they were expecting. Whilst we understand this, we cannot accept patients apparently behaving inappropriately.
