Reception

The medical staff are assisted by a team of receptionists, secretaries and administrators. Anything you say to them will be in confidence. The receptionist's job is to ease the flow of patients wishing to see the doctor, enabling them to see as many patients as necessary during their day. If you find you no longer need your appointment with any practice member would you please let us know so that we may allocate it to someone else. We understand that our patients sometimes come to the surgery in considerable pain or distress. We realise that patients may become angry or upset if they feel we are not giving them the service they were expecting. Whilst we understand this, we cannot accept patients apparently behaving inappropriately.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
